Hello! I’m Dr. Jack Franklin, MD.
I am a Board Certified Family Medicine Physician serving patients in Llano, TX and the surrounding area. I graduated from the the UT Southwest Medical Center in Dallas, TX in 1995, and served my residency at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, TX. I have been serving the medical needs of patients in the Llano region for over 20 years, and I’m excited to be offering an affordable new approach to family healthcare with Hill Country Direct Care.
I am an avid hunter and sports fanatic, and when you can’t find me in the clinic, you can find me hunting, fishing, and enjoying the outdoors with my wife and family. As many of you may already know, I have been heavily involved with area youth sports, coaching my sons’, baseball, soccer, & basketball teams, and growing my faith in Jesus Christ as a member of Lutie Watkins Memorial Methodist Church in Llano.

Meet Cody Cowan, P.A.
Hi there. I am Cody Cowan, a Physician’s Assistant and have been practicing in the Hill Country with Dr. Franklin for over 20 years. My area of practice is Family Medicine, providing care for all ages. I live in Llano with my wonderful wife and we have two grown sons. I am accepting new patients.
Meet Brian K. Jenkins, MD
Dr. Jenkins is a Family Medicine Physician with over 20 years of experience practicing in Central and North Texas. He graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston in 2003 and completed residency training at John Peter Smith hospital in 2006. Since then he has practiced in Kingsland, Llano, Fort Worth, and Arlington, Texas. Since 2002, he also has educated over 80,000 medical students across the United States. He is a third generation Texas physician and is excited to join the Hill Country Direct Care team. He sees patients of all ages and is accepting new patients.
Meet Taylor Brooks, F.N.P.
Hi there! My name is Taylor Brooks, and I am a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. I have been working as a nurse practitioner in the Hill Country for over 5 years. I grew up down the road in Burnet. When not at work, you can find me hanging out with my husband and two boys. I am accepting new patients of all ages.
